This was one of those "What the heck"-type buys. I figured at this price point, even if the scrubs were awful, I could use 'em for painting or something.

I was in for a surprise.

These are some very well designed and sturdily constructed scrubs. The cloth is a nice balance of feeling substantial without being stiff. The manufacturer isn't kidding when they state "RUNS LARGE". I find my normal size (XXL) very roomy and actually cuff the pant legs about 1-1/2". (I'm 6'1", and have a 32" inseam. I think they'd work particularly well for those needing "tall" sizes.) One neat innovation is the combo drawstring front/elastic back. It makes the pants VERY comfortable, but somewhat difficult to cinch up, if you like to torque your drawstring tight. The good news: they're not so loose as to have caused any embarrassing situations.

Where the rubber meets the road is in the pockets, and with this scrub set, there is no shortage of carrying capacity. On the pants, each leg has a decently-sized cargo pocket and inset side pockets just below the waist band, all well stitched. The top features one front pocket on the left breast with the much-appreciated pen-pocket. I was somewhat concerned about the side-slits, that they may appear too feminine, but that's not the case.

I purchased the "Dark Navy" set and my first impression was, "Hey, hon? Does this look black to you?" They're not kidding when they state "dark" navy. A couple of washings later, it's still dark, but it looks more obviously navy now. One upside, they actually look kinda classy. I honestly couldn't believe the number of compliments I got on the color.

If the current price point stays stable, I will definately purchase this set again and can't recommend it highly enough.

Fast shipping. Seller states they fit big and do. Bit thin but not uncommon and thicker material than more expensive ones I've purchased before. Pants are much nicer than others in this price range. Very happy with this buy. Real good buy for the price.

They DO fit big. I wear a medium normally and bought a small that fit very well, with the shirt a smidge too short. Check the size chart to see where you fit in.

Need's a back pocket

Like other reviewers said, these do run big, so order a smaller size than you normally would. The only problem i have with them is that the pants doesn't have a back pocket for my wallet. It would rather have one less pocket on the pant leg if it were an either/or situation. But overall I really like these scrubs.

Although I'm 220lbs and you'd think the large would fit perfectly all the way around, the top is a bit snug, and the pants aren't exactly male friendly, but they do the trick all the same. I love the pockets....being a massage therapist, I love to keep oil/gel bottles in my pockets sometimes rather than using a holster, and the pockets in the pants are awesome!

Wish there were prints that were more male friendly and also more metaphysical in nature, but not too over-the-top.

Good job, Marcus....will be buying more soon. Maybe I'll try a medium in pants and an extra large on the top? Hmmm...
